STEP / ACCOUNT

Create an account

Start by opening the VPNTe user panel signup page. Set an easy-to-remember username and a unique password; no email address is required. After entering them, check that both password fields match, then submit the form. Use the username to sign in to the user panel later and the password to protect your plan, orders and subscription details, so do not reuse the same credentials on other websites.

After signup succeeds, the page opens the user panel. On your first visit, check the top of the page or the account overview: seeing the current account status confirms that your login session is active. If the page remains unchanged after submission, check whether the username is already taken, whether both passwords match, and whether the browser is blocking required site storage. Correct any prompts and submit again; there is no need to create multiple accounts.

Once this step is complete, do not look for client installation files yet. Until a plan is selected, a new account may show only informational text in the download and subscription sections. Open the plans page next, create an active subscription based on your actual data needs, then return to the overview to get the import details.

Expected result

The user panel opens normally and shows the status of the account you just created. Next, open the plans section.

STEP / PLAN

Choose a Plan and Order

Open “Purchase a plan” or the plans section in the user panel. VPNTe offers two billing options: monthly subscriptions reset data each month on the activation date, while data packages remain available until used and never expire. Choose according to your usage pattern rather than comparing only the total data allowance. Frequent HD streaming, large file syncing or long-term use across multiple devices generally calls for extra data headroom; occasional browsing and lighter tasks can start with a smaller tier.

Monthly subscriptions are available at ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB or ¥28/month with 500GB. Data packages are available at ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB or ¥658/3000GB. All plans support unlimited devices. When upgrading a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated over the remaining days. If your data needs increase only temporarily, check the time left in the current cycle before upgrading.

After choosing a plan, open the order confirmation page. Check the plan name, data allowance and amount, then select one of the payment methods shown: Alipay, WeChat or USDT. Submit the order and wait for its status to update; do not repeatedly create identical orders while the status is pending. If payment is complete but the page has not changed, return to the orders section and refresh it. Once the plan is active, open the account overview to get your subscription.

VPNTe offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. If the plan does not match your needs, keep the order details and submit a ticket through the user panel. For full billing, upgrade and refund details, see the FAQ; this page focuses only on the essential first-time setup.

Expected result

The order status has updated, and the account overview shows an active plan or data package. Next, copy the subscription link for your account.

STEP / SUBSCRIPTION

In the user panel, Get Your Subscription

Once the plan is active, open the account overview in the user panel. Find the subscription section, confirm that the remaining data and plan status match the order, then use the page’s copy function to get the subscription link. This link is how a client reads route configuration; it is not a regular webpage address. Opening it directly in a browser may show text, trigger a download or display unreadable content, none of which necessarily means the subscription is invalid.

After copying the link, leave the user panel open for the moment and switch to the client to import it. Do not post the subscription link in public chats, screenshots or shared documents, because a device holding the link may be able to read the route configuration associated with the account. To use another device you own, copy the link again from the user panel instead of forwarding it through a public channel.

If the tutorial asks you to identify the link format, treat it as an obviously fictional value like the example below. This address is for structure only; it cannot connect to VPNTe and contains no real account information:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

If the subscription entry is not visible in the overview yet, return to the orders page, check the status and reload the account overview. If the order is complete but the subscription section still has not updated, submit the order details in the user panel’s ticket section. Do not edit characters in the subscription link or convert it to a shortened URL from an unknown source.

Expected result

The subscription link has been copied, and the plan status in the user panel is correct. Next, import it into the client for your platform.

STEP / CLIENT

Import into Clients on Every Platform

The client reads the subscription, displays routes and establishes the system network connection. Get the client and installation instructions currently available for your account from the VPNTe user panel’s download section; this page does not provide static installation packages. After installation, the core steps are broadly the same across platforms: open subscription management, choose import from link, paste the copied content, save it and update the subscription once.

Windows

After installing the Windows client provided in the user panel, look for “Subscription,” “Configuration” or “Subscription management” in the main interface or sidebar. Choose Import from URL, paste the subscription link and save it. Once the client parses the link, a list of regional routes appears. If the list is empty, use Update subscription to fetch it again; do not split the link manually.

After importing, return to the routes page, choose a route and enable the system proxy or connection switch. If the system asks for network permission the first time, allow the client to establish the connection. Once the client status changes from disconnected to connected, continue to the verification steps later on this page.

macOS

Get the macOS client from the user panel and install it. On first launch, macOS may ask you to approve network configuration access for the app. Confirm that the app was opened through the VPNTe panel and continue. In the client’s configuration or subscription page, choose Add subscription, paste the link into the URL field and give the configuration a recognizable name.

Save it and run an update, then wait for the route list to finish loading. Return to the client’s main window, choose a route and enable the connection. If a client status icon appears in the menu bar, you can use it to check the connection quickly, but the first setup is best completed in the main window so you do not miss a system permission prompt.

Android

After installing the Android client provided in the user panel, open the configuration or subscription page. Choose Add via link, paste the subscription content into the field, save and update it. When the route list appears, choose the desired region and turn on the connection switch. The first time Android establishes a VPN connection, a permission prompt appears; review the system notice and allow the connection.

To reduce the chance of the system pausing the connection after you switch apps, use your device’s system settings to allow the client to run in the background. Settings vary widely by manufacturer, so this page does not cover every model. If the connection drops frequently after the screen locks, see the mobile background section of the troubleshooting guide.

iOS

Check the download section in the user panel for the iOS access method and install the compatible client listed there. Open it and look for Add subscription, Remote configuration or Import from URL. Paste the subscription link and save it. After updating, the client should show available routes. If iOS asks whether to allow a VPN configuration to be added, confirm and continue.

After choosing a route and starting the connection, the status bar prompt reflects the current connection state. If you switch clients, do not rely on the old app’s local configuration. Return to the user panel, copy the subscription again and import it into the new client to avoid using stale cached content.

The key checks are the same on every platform: the client should show a route list, updates should not fail continuously, and the connection switch should correctly change the system network state. Installing the client alone does not give it VPNTe routes; pasting the link without saving or updating it will not produce selectable nodes either.

Expected result

The client now shows the route list. Choose a region and start the connection. Next, check whether webpage access and the exit location are working as expected.

STEP / VERIFY

Connect and Verify

Choose a route suited to your current use and enable the connection. For the first test, choose a geographically closer region to reduce variables from the local network, cross-border links and the destination website. Once the client shows connected, open a webpage that normally works for you to confirm basic access. Then visit the service you need to use.

Next, check your exit information. Open a familiar IP lookup page in your browser and see whether the displayed region matches the route selected in the client. The goal is not to memorize a particular address, but to confirm that the exit has changed and that the destination region matches the selected route. If it has not changed, return to the client and check that the system proxy or VPN switch is actually enabled rather than merely selecting a route name.

If webpages open but one application shows no change, fully quit the app and reopen it so it establishes a fresh network connection. Some apps retain the session from before the connection change and do not refresh immediately. If the issue persists, check whether the client uses per-app routing and whether the target app is excluded from the proxy scope.

After verification, you can use the connection normally. When changing regions later, disconnect the current route first, select a new one and reconnect. Repeat the basic webpage and exit checks after connecting to quickly distinguish a route issue from a client configuration issue or a temporary state of the destination service.

Expected result

A regular webpage opens normally, the exit region matches the selected route, and the target app uses the new connection after restarting.

NEXT / SUPPORT

Next Steps When Something Goes Wrong

If you are stuck at signup, order status or subscription retrieval, start with the FAQ and look under “Account & Subscription” or “Billing & Refunds.” If import succeeded but you cannot connect at all, webpages do not open, speeds are slow, disconnections are frequent, subscription updates fail or the connection drops in the mobile background, open the troubleshooting guide and check each symptom in turn.

When submitting a ticket, include the platform you use, the exact error text shown in the client, whether the issue occurred during import or connection, the routes you have tried and the relevant order status. Do not include the subscription link or password in public content. The more complete the information, the easier it is for support to determine whether the issue is with the account, client, local network or a specific route.
